The Top Ten Tough Conversations Executives and Entrepreneurs Aren’t Having

I am a big evangelist for having the Tough Conversation in our personal lives and relationships – you probably already know that. But I also believe in the power of a Tough Conversation, artfully had, at work. I’m sure if you took a moment you could think of at least three Tough Conversations you want to have with someone at your job but haven’t. If you can, you’re like many team-leaders across the globe who want to address an issue, but don’t know how.

I believe Tough Conversations can transform work cultures around the world

In this clip of my interview on the Evolve podcast, I talk about:

  • The Top Ten Tough Conversations at work
  • “I screwed up”, and “You screwed up”
  • Holding others accountable to what they said they’d do
  • My solution to the corporate Tough Conversations crisis
  • The power of confidential, third-party coaching access for a team or company

Tough Conversations need to be had openly, or they fester

I believe Tough Conversations can and are transforming toxic work cultures. If you think your company could use a Tough Conversations coach, reach out to me with the form on this page and I’ll be in touch.

Thanks David. I like the list of 10+ things that is thought to talk about. I will use parts of it to highlight things that we need to address in a business. The things on the list are there, everyday, year around, and are not addressed in a proper way. They are just hidden away, suppressed.
And yes, to have that third party professional to be able to talk to on demand would be a great thing for many organizations.
